How to Get Through the Federal Government Deal with GSA MAS Contract

GSA MAS, or the General Services Administration Master Agreement (https://www.gsa.gov/gsa-mas), is the United States' primary contract vehicle for small businesses. It provides an avenue for small businesses to compete for government contracts without having to invest a lot of time and money to do so. Since small businesses are a critical part of the US economy, the MAS contract is one way that the US government tries to support US businesses.

The GSA Master Agreement Schedules, or MAS, are a set of contracts that give the small business community the tools and resources to do business with the federal government. Each GSA MAS contract is an umbrella contract that covers a broad range of goods, services, and consulting tasks that the federal government needs done. Most MAS contracts are designed to cover industries or categories of products or services that are not covered by other GSA contracts.

As a government contractor, you’re probably already aware that the government’s top priority is to get the best value for the taxpayer. But did you know that the government’s secondary priority is to ensure that everyone who uses the government’s money is treated fairly? If you win a GSA contract, you are required to accept orders from any other companies that want to buy the same products or services. In essence, this means that when you win a GSA contract, you can’t discriminate against any companies that want to buy the same products or services.

The U.S. federal government offers many opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs. One of the easiest to understand and simple to bid on is the GSA Master Agreement Schedule (GSA MAS). It allows any business to sell products and services directly to the federal government through a streamlined and competitive process. The GSA MAS is an excellent opportunity for any business to grow, and get access to an enormous potential market.
